The Expert Panel on Service Innovation in the EU
The Expert Panel comprises 20 distinguished innovation experts drawn from across industry, academia and public authorities from 15 different Member States. The Expert Panel on Services Innovation was set by DG Enterprise and Industry in March 2010. The work ends in February 2011. The work of the Expert Panel is closely linked to the Europe 2020 Strategy.
The Expert Panel is addressing the transformative power of service innovation to boost the economy and support the growth priorities of the Europe 2020 strategy – smart, sustainable and inclusive growth. The Expert Panel is producing a number of high - level recommendations and has collected inspiring and stimulating examples of innovative services and policies from all the EU Member States.

Confindustria is the Italian Federation that gives a common voice to all those businesses that create technological, professional, managerial, and organizational innovation.
Altogether, the sectors represented constitute a very significant part of the economy representing 13% of the Italian GDP.
The Federation aims at increasing the sector's economic growth and political influence, so as to make it a driving factor enhancing Italy’s productivity and modernization in the frame of the economic trend of convergence between Information & Communication Technology and businesses and professional services, fostering the adoption by companies of new strategies and new competitive tools.
