Europe INNOVA is the European initiative for the development, testing and promotion of new tools and instruments in support of innovation. Despite the progress made, the impact in terms of actual take up of the novel solutions developed is still limited. The challenge is to turn such tools into widely used support packages. This wider uptake will create a stronger European added value from the projects, exploiting Europe’s innovation potential as effectively as possible.
TAKE IT UP - the Europe INNOVA promotion pillar - responds to this challenge by assisting the Europe INNOVA partnerships to develop, test and implement novel services according to users’ and market needs.
TAKE IT UP supports projects in fine-tuning tools to accomplish the quality principles of Subsidiarity, Novelty, Usability, Replicability, Scalability and Adaptability.
Who will benefit from TAKE IT UP ?
The project targets Europe INNOVA partnerships and European innovation intermediaries (innovation agencies, regional development agencies, technology transfer offices, incubators, science parks, cluster management organisations, network/platform managers, innovation consultants) in their capacity as innovation support service providers searching for better tools:
- DEVELOPERS (1st and 2nd generation Europe INNOVA partnerships)
will be guided in
- implementing the quality principles
- accessing additional partners for testing the services
- identifying the most appropriate capitalization strategy
and supported in the documentation and marketing of their tools
- POTENTIAL USERS (Innovation intermediaries like EEN, EBN, EURADA, TII, EBAN)
can participate in the development of the tools by testing them with their clients in their regions. They will
- have direct access to Europe INNOVA best tools/services for innovation support through an online repository
- be informed on latest progress on innovation support mechanisms/services
- benefit from showcasing/matchmaking opportunities
