The KIS 100 CLUB got off to a positive start in Lyon during the Europe INNOVA Annual Conference in October. And now Club organisers are busy preparing for the next session which will be held in Brussels on 19th February.
The Club Session will be part of the KIS Partnering Event which is planned for the same day. More information on the KIS Partnering Event will be coming soon.
The initial Club meeting proved to be a success as the initial Club members travelled to Lyon to discuss major Knowledge Intensive Services (KIS) related topics.
The first meeting of the KIS 100 Club was organised by the KISPLATFORM project, the horizontal support measure under the Knowledge Intensive Services Innovation Platform, otherwise known as KIS-IP.
The Club session was moderated by William Stevens, founder and CEO of Europe Unlimited and Mette Quinn, DG Enterprise European Commission.
All attendants were given an opportunity to introduce themselves, their business and their interest in the KIS 100 Club at the beginning of the meeting. Approximately 25 entrepreneurs were present in the audience from sectors as diverse as the chemical sector, the renewable energy sector and the IT sector coming from nine EU Member States.
The report of the meeting is available here: which provides the most relevant points that arose from the meeting and a synopsis of the two speeches delivered by Alan Barrell of the Cambridge Angels Network and Geleyn Meijer, Director of Logica Management Consulting.
